East 10th Street | Manhattan, NYC
Our team provided architectural and structural coordination services for the full reconstruction of the sidewalk vault at 219 East 10th Street. The scope included the near-complete replacement of the vault’s structural steel framing, addressing severe deterioration and restoring structural capacity beneath the public right-of-way.
The work was executed beneath an active sidewalk and occupied building, requiring rigorous coordination, sequencing, and detailing to safely integrate new steel framing with the existing structure while minimizing disruption and maintaining public safety.
