Our team provided FISP | Local Law 11 inspection and reporting services as a Qualified Exterior Wall Inspector (QEWI), along with architectural design and construction administration for exterior masonry repairs. The scope of work included comprehensive façade repairs and the reconstruction of deteriorated parapet elements, addressing long-standing weathering and safety concerns at the building envelope.

All work was executed in coordination with DOB requirements and within the constraints of the LPC-regulated historic district, balancing code compliance, life-safety obligations, and the preservation of the building’s original architectural character.

Original Construction: Early 20th century (c. 1905–1915)

Construction Type: Solid masonry bearing-wall residential building with ornamental stone detailing and masonry parapets

Landmark Status: Located within an LPC-designated Historic District (Morningside Heights)
