The Ship - Cocktail Bar | NYC

Located below ground on Lafayette Street in SoHo/Little Italy, this approximately 2,650-square-foot cocktail bar transforms a previously abandoned basement into an industrial, deep-sea-inspired lounge.

  • Transform a vacant dilapidated commercial basement into a chic nautical-inspired cocktail lounge

Design: Robert Jamieson

Our Delivery:

  • Served as AOR, becoming an oversight hub to coordinate and manage all design principals, create the detailed documentation of plans to ensure compliance, and secure all required approvals

  • Assured ADA compliance through redesign of entrance and dining spaces 

  • Achieved unprecedented DOB/FDNY approval for use of salvaged vintage US Navy sails as upholstery by tracing flame-retardant specs from original manufacturer
