Amada Restaurant | Brookfield Place, NYC
Chef and restaurateur José Garces brought his celebrated Spanish restaurant and tapas bar, Amada, to New York City with a new location at Brookfield Place. Caseworks served as Architect of Record, collaborating with AvroKO on design and Shawmut Design and Construction on delivery. The project involved extensive coordination, detailed documentation, and management of required approvals.
The 7,000-square-foot restaurant features an expansive dining room with a mix of open and booth seating, a private dining area, two bars, and a coffee shop with a dedicated street entrance. The project also included a reimagined exterior dining area and a reconfigured storefront, creating a welcoming new entry along Vesey Street.
