Carla Murray, Principal

Carla Murray is a LEED accredited professional and principal of caseworks design group. She received her Bachelor of Architecture from The Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture of The Cooper Union and has been with caseworks since 2000. Carla is currently a member of the United States Green Building Council USGBC and the American Institute of Architects – A.I.A.

Her area of concentration at caseworks includes exterior restoration, historic building preservation and design. John Paul Murray, Principal

John Paul Murray, RA AIA is a licensed architect, registered to practice in New York and New Jersey.  He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from The Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture of The Cooper Union, and a Master in Architecture from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design. Mr. Murray has a comprehensive understanding of architectural design and space planning as well as building envelope design, restoration, and historic building preservation.  Working on both new and existing structures his experience includes extensive work on and in commercial office buildings, residential structures, and restaurant design. He also provides expert witness support and forensic building services.

As a practicing architect John Paul Murray established caseworks architect, PLLC as a general architecture firm specializing in design and exterior building envelope technologies. Since inception in August of 2000 caseworks has provided a wide range of professional services to its clients including diagnostic review of building envelope and mechanical systems, exterior envelope design and restoration, Certificate of Occupancy modifications for adaptive reuse and legalizations, as well as both residential and commercial designs.

As Professor Adjunct John Paul Murray taught construction technology courses to both undergraduate and graduate level students and served as a technical consultant to comprehensive design studios at The Spitzer School of Architecture from 2011 to 2014.
